Security

2.1Security

DWA Commerce offers a robust security model that gives business users a granular control over the system allowing you to control who can do what in the system. This security model has been designed around Security Groups, Security Permission, and User Logins.

Security Permission: are granular access controls properties (predefined in DWA Commerce) that can be assigned to users to allow them to add, modify, delete, view and administer (combination of all) data in an application module.

User Login: are the user’s credentials (managed using Party module) used by him to access DWA Commerce.

Security Group: forms the bridging mechanism between permission and user logins, allowing you to grant security permissions to a group of user logins instead of individual User Login. While DWAC comes with 25 predefined security groups to help you manage DWAC, yet you have the flexibility to create your own Security Groups based on your business requirements.
